From the
airport:
You can take a "shuttle" (mini-bus) straight to our door for approx
$30 NZD each. Alternatively we can book you a luxury taxi, and the driver
will meet your flight at the airport and bring you to our door for approx

If arriving
by car:
Collect a map from the airport, and drive from the airport onto the Southern
Motorway (SH1) and travel north: Continue north and cross the Auckland Harbour
Bridge. Exit the motorway at the "Esmonde Road" exit (over the
Harbour bridge, then 3rd exit) and drive approx 1.5km to the end of Esmonde
Road, and turn right into Lake Road (at the 3rd set of traffic lights after
leaving the motorway). Continue along Lake Road for approx 5km, passing
the "Welcome to Devonport" sign opposite a Mobil petrol station.
500 meters past the Mobil station, turn left at the roundabout, into Albert
Street. Continue along Albert Street for 700 meters until the junction,
then turn right into Vauxhal Road. Continue along Vauxhal Road for 1km,
and it changes into Church Street near the waterfront end. We are at no.
11 Church Street, on the corner of Church and Tudor Streets, 150 meters
from the waterfront end of Church Street.
If arriving
by ferry:
Ferry boats to Devonport depart Auckland every half hour (at half past and
on the hour) until 8pm, then hourly until 11pm (or 1pm on Friday and Saturday).
Ferry boats to and from Waiheke island also call at Devonport 3 or 4 times

The Duder Homestead is a 10 minute walk (600 metres) from the Devoport Ferry Terminal, or 1 minute on the bus (please check the bus timetable at the Ferry Terminal, as the bus does not meet every ferry sailing.) We may be able to collect you from the Ferry. Please telephone us before you arrive to check that Ferry collection is available.
